CANNABIS SCIENCE CONFERENCE WEST 2022
Continuing research and education is critically important to the medicinal cannabis community. Conferences such as the Cannabis Science Conference give medical and cannabis professionals unique insight into current research and developing science.
PHILIP WOLF
Philip is a man of many talents, one of which is moderating panels on psychedelics. This was a new topic for CSC West, and Philip brought his enlightened, spiritual insight into the discussion.
Here’s what he told us about attending the conference.
NURSE HEATHER
Nurse Heather is a certified rockstar in the medicinal cannabis community. As a founding member of the Cannabis Nurses Network, Heather’s influence is felt far and wide. She’s a national treasure (along with all nurses), especially those focusing on plant-based medicine. A panel moderator discussing California's Ryans Law at CSC West, it was a joy speaking with her. Learn from Nurse Heather.
DR. FELICIA STOLER, DCN, MS, RDN, FACSM, FAND
Felicia is a world-renowned health expert who translates science into friendly information about nutrition, fitness, and wellness. She is the CEO and Founder of the Cannabis for Better Health Foundation, and we loved learning why she attended CSC West. Watch the video here.
TIP GHOSH
Tip is a truly interesting guy. In addition to his extensive medicinal cannabis knowledge, Tip’s unique background includes expertise in finance and neuroscience; not exactly a typical career path in cannabis. He was a speaker at CSC West, and we were so pleased to speak with him as well.
JAMIE ROLLINS
Jaime is also a member of the Cannabis Nurses Network and she spoke on a panel at CSC West. Jaime helps thought leaders create health-centric spaces to share plant, entheogens, holistic, and psychedelics medicine. Find out why she thinks it’s important to attend CSC West. Watch Jaime on YouTube.
CONNOR SHEFFIELD
For a young man of 17, Connor is already a force of nature in cannabis legislation. He is largely responsible for getting the Connor and Raina’s Law passed in Maryland. The year-old law permits students to consume needed medicinal cannabis on campus, and not hide in a parking lot or off-campus. Connor is the Executive Director of the Connor Sheffield Foundation, and oh, and he’s a professional racecar driver. You can say he’s going places, quickly. Watch Connor speak with Lynn.
MARY CARREON
For Mary, words matter. She’s an independent journalist and was an editor at MERRY JANE and High Times, along with Bylines at Billboard, KCRW, DoubleBlind Mag, The LAnd, OC Weekly, Kitchen Toke, and more. You can read some of her thoughtful work, here. We were so pleased that she took a moment to tell us why she came to CSC West!
